The patent leather thus formed is water resistant, light weight, fungus resistant and comes in a variety of colors. This leather has become extremely popular, and is not only used in the manufacture of shoes but also for making furniture, fashion clothing and sports products.

There are special Lanolin based sponge polishes available, which give instant shine. Using these products is extremely easy.
